When starting out in your online business, you might find yourself spending a lot of time in front of your computer screen, and neglecting the jobs around the house. Here a a very short video showing you how I got round this.
If you would like to listen to the audio I was streaming at the time it can be found at Yaro Starak’s blog Entrepreneurs-Journey, or you can read the transcript.
Getting started on the Internet used to mean learning HTML, these days you can get a web page up in no time using a blog, you can get a free blog at WordPress.com or Blogger.com. These are fine if you are just going to put posts up about your daily activities, if you intend to use your blog for Internet Marketing then you really need your own web site, you will have more freedom to put what you want in your blog
I personally use WordPress, installing it on your web site is relatively easy, you will need to find a hosting company that supports WordPress I use BlueHost, you can have as many domains hosted in the one account as you want, they will register your domain for you, another company is HostGator both of these I think are reasonably priced
One of the big stumbling blocks for someone starting out in Internet Marketing, is deciding what market you are going to go into, if you already have a business you could take that online, a lot of people start a business around their hobby. Whatever market you go into make sure it is something you are interested in, you will find it easier to create content for it, try to get a domain name with your subject in it. If your market is plumbing then www.plumbing.com would be a good name, it gives the search engines an idea of what your site is about, you’ve found a name that you like and it fits your business before you part with your hard earned cash, read the next paragraph
The next step is market research it is no good putting hours into something only to find no one is buying what you are selling, you will only spend hours putting your site together for nothing. So before you part with your hard earned cash, head over to Google here is the link https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, put your keywords in (plumbing), put the characters in the empty box and click get keyword ideas, the results will tell you if there potential customers out there
I hope this gets you started with your Internet Marketing business, one thing you need to remember is you will not be an over night success, unless you are very lucky
Hello and welcome to my blog, my name is Bill Coton, I will be putting post up about things that interest me, and I hope that some of what I put up will help others
I decided on the name Cash To Stash, because that is one of my goals, like so many others, I found I was working to pay of debts and not saving anything, the idea is to be at the point where I have extra cash at the end of the month, this will be my Cash To Stash
The way I plan to do this is through an Internet Marketing business, I have had small success in that area so far, amongst the other things I am interested in is Personal Development, and I honestly think that both Internet Marketing and Personal Development go hand in hand.
You may or may not have heard this phrase before. Whether you think you can or you think you can’t then you are probable right. If you don’t think you can your not going to try, and if you don’t try you are not going to move forward, so you see how Personal Development fits in with Internet Marketing
So why Internet Marketing, can you imagine being able to work at anytime from anywhere, that’s what appeals to me, I don’t like the cold, so when I have my Internet business in full swing I will be spending the winters in a warmer climate
Here on my blog I will be mentioning the tools I will be using, as with any other business you will need tools, have you ever seen a plumber without a spanner, he wouldn’t get far without one, so there are tools I will need and I will be recommending them throughout this blog
